UPDATE:

Our season has come to an end.  All stand locations are now closed.

However, we will have corn at the farmer’s market in Wichita at 21st & Ridge for the next few Saturdays.  Be watching here and on facebook for updates.  If there is enough corn, we will also go to the Reno Co farmer’s market in Hutch.

Be watching email, facebook or our website for daily morning updates.

Thanks so much for supporting our family business each summer!! We can only be successful when people like you continue to buy/shop local. We appreciate our customers so much!!!

ALL OF OUR SWEET CORN & OTHER PRODUCE IS NON-GMO.

Please remember that early season sweet corn will be smaller ears than later in the season (first full week of the season).

We have had an abundance of rain & cool weather this spring which we are very grateful for, but has caused some issues with planting at the correct times and size of the early sweet corn ears.

If you would like information about our sweet corn season and other produce, please sign up for our email newsletter or facebook page.  We will have updates throughout the season and inform you of special produce or fruits that will be available on certain dates.

Gaeddert Farms is a family owned and operated business located approximately 45 miles northwest of Wichita just outside the small community of Buhler. Our business started over 30 years ago as a small sweet corn patch for extended family use. Our first sweet corn stand was on our grandparent’s front lawn on 1st Street in Buhler, where we were excited if we sold 5 dozen in one day. Our customer base is now very extensive and growing … from Alaska to Florida. We hope we count you, as our customer.

Gaeddert Farms takes pride in the fact that we are known for our quality and integrity. We provide our customers with an outstanding product as well as an honest, family-oriented atmosphere. Be sure to visit us at one of our stands this year.

I have been buying corn from you for the last several years at the stand at Home Depot on Woodlawn. I like the service I get there and the corn is awesome. I now have my grown children buying this corn for their families.
    Thank you

We are once again this year, looking forward for our family to get together…and freeze almost 40 dozen, sweet, corn ears, that have been blanched, cooled, cut off ear, packed & frozen. Every one that can, comes and we have a busy day..
By now..each of the family members has it down pat, what they will be doing..and are at there station ready!..Before then… they help us shuck the corn…every one’s “Hands On” . Sometimes, with the grandchildren…some of the corn does not make it to the Boiling water in the Turkey Fryer!….If you are blanching Corn for freezing…A Turkey Fryer, works great outside!. It doesn’t heat up the house. Our oldest daughter, Becky , discovered this about 10 years ago..and we have done this, ever since.
We are thrilled, that you all, produce sweet corn, in our area…We always have more then enough sweet corn, in the boxes, that have been counted & sorted out.
We look forward to this special day in June or July….Its a lot of work..but we all enjoy it together…and as the winter wind blows, we savor the delicious frozen, cooked corn on those special days…there is not a time that goes by…someone mentions our family’s
Corn Reunion!…….May God Bless You All! Thank you..thank you!

I have been a seasonal purchaser from Gaeddert Farms since I move to Wichita in 2005. If you and your family have not experienced the fresh produce that they bring to the Wichita Area, you really should try it and show you family just how wonderful farm/home grown can be. Thank you for asking for comments. I plan to purchase several dozen ears of corn for my freezer and other fresh produce. My grandchildren look forward to the ears of corn each year for the 4th of July celebration and other events through out the year. <3 One Very Happy Grannie in Kansas 🙂

On request we took two cases of your corn to Colorado and down into Texas last year. I always buy for my neighbors that don’t drive. I also put 3 doz. in my freezer to enjoy during the off season. Sharon Miller Wichita Ks.

Last year was our first time to try your sweet corn. It was s-o-o-o-o delicious!! Very tender and juicy. It was so perfect I could enjoy it with NO butter or salt, which is how I’ve eaten corn-on-the-cob since a child. Am anxiously looking forward to it again this year. You have this family “addicted” to your corn. Thank you for making it available to the public!!!

WE LOVE YOU CORN AND HAVE BEEN BUYING IT FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I TELL EVERYONE THAT IF THEY LOVE ROASTING EARS THEN TO GO TO YOUR STANDS AND BUY FROM YOU. I BUY AND PUT IN THE FREEZER SEVERAL EARS OF CORN SO THAT IT LASTS US ALL WINTER AND YEAR ROUND. MY TWO YOUNG GRANDSONS WHO HAVE LOST THEIR FRONT TEETH ARE STILL FINDING A WAY TO EAT THE CORN OFF THE COB. WE ALL LOVE IT AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS WITH US.

I have been buying your corn for the past several years. It’s so delicious! I have already bought a dozen ears at the farmers market this year and plan to go get about 3 more dozen to freeze. That should tide us over till next summer when we can get some more from you!! Thanks for selling it in the Wichita area as we don’t have many options to get farm fresh produce.

Been buying your corn for years. I buy 6 dozen to freeze every year. It last us till you open in July. It is even better after you freeze it and cook it.
Thanks for another good crop this year

Your corn is hands down the best. Last year we had a taste off with yours vs. Olathe, Co. sweet corn. Even the Coloradans had to admit that yours was the sweetest – quite a testament!!!

Butter and sweetness dripping off your elbows – does it get any better than This? I don’t know how you do it, but this is by far THE BEST sweet corn we’ve had the opportunity to butter! We have moved to Wichita from the “corn country” of Iowa/Illinois, where we were fortunate to find what we thought was good corn on the cob only a couple of weeks each year. That did not compare to Gaeddert GREAT corn. So sweet your hands get sticky just husking it.
Other veggies and fruits sold at the stands are of equal quality.
